What Ontario's public drug programs cover for contraception and menopause hormone therapy (HRT — clinically, menopausal hormone therapy or MHT), sourced from the province's own program pages.
Contraception
Partial coveragePartially covered — a real program exists, but it is not free or universal.
NOT free/universal. Free only via OHIP+ (under 25, no private insurance) or via the income-based Trillium Drug Program / Ontario Works / ODSP (any age). Ontario has no federal pharmacare deal and no general coverage for adults 25+ outside those programs.

Menopause hormone therapy (MHT / HRT)
Partial coveragePartially covered — a real program exists, but it is not free or universal.
NOT free/universal for the general population; MHT drugs are only accessible through the same age/income-gated ODB programs as contraception (Trillium, OW/ODSP, seniors 65+, OHIP+ under 25) — same eligibility test as any other formulary drug.
