Why this site exists

Most people fill a prescription or sign up with the first provider they find, without an easy way to check whether the price they were quoted is competitive. WomensHealthPrices.ca exists to make women’s-health treatment pricing visible: we check Canadian pharmacy and telehealth provider listings and publish what they charge. No sign-up. No paywall. Just the prices.

How we get the prices

Every price here is read from a page that is published and that you can open yourself. We do not call pharmacies. Online pharmacies and telehealth providers — Pocketpills, XYON, Felix — publish their own prices, and we read them from those pages. Retail chain prices for Costco, Walmart, Rexall and Shoppers Drug Mart come from the pharmacy price tables published by TeleTest.ca, which surveys those pharmacies; we cite that table and show its survey date, not the date we read it. Every price carries the source it came from and the date that source was current. See our methodology for the full process, verification cadence, and what we deliberately exclude.

Editorial standards and sourcing

• Public prices only. We do not list compounded, grey-market, or unverifiable pricing. If we cannot confirm a number against a published source, it does not appear on the site.
• A comparison needs something to compare. We do not publish a treatment page until we have prices from at least two independent sources for it. A page with one price on it is a copy of that seller’s own page, so we leave it unlisted until there is a real comparison to show. Several treatments are in that state right now, and we would rather say so than pad a table.
• Every fact carries a source and a checked date. This isn’t just an editorial promise — it is enforced in our database: a price cannot be saved without a source link, and a provider fee cannot be saved without one either.
• No paid rankings. No provider pays to appear or to rank higher. Price tables are ordered by verified price only.
• Corrections policy. If a provider or reader believes something we’ve published is wrong, we investigate and correct verified errors within 48 hours. See how to reach us.

Who publishes this site

WomensHealthPrices.ca is an independent, solo-published price comparison site. It is not a clinic, pharmacy, or medical practice, and it has no clinical or medical review board — no page on this site should be read as reviewed or endorsed by a healthcare professional.
